Video diary: a winner’s reaction

Posted on by admin

At Festival 3, held in Manchester in 2011, Jenna Hill won the SIGNIS Award for her film, Project Jerusalem.

Jenna‘s prize was a prestigious invitation to be part of a SIGNIS jury at the Religion Today Festival in Trento, Italy.

Jenna enjoyed the experience so much that she filmed a video journal (02.44) describing her feelings about winning the SIGNIS Award in 2011 followed by her trip to Italy. She also shared news about her current projects and her best wishes for the success of the 4th Insight Festival, held in March 2013.

Thank you, Jenna, for taking the time and making the effort to record your reaction to engaging with the Insight Festival.

Insight is delighted to share the link to Jenna’s video diary. Please take a look. Also, why not get familiar with Jenna’s winning entry at the 3rd Insight Festival, Project Jerusalem: the trailer, the film, and the blog.

We would be equally keen to share video diary films from other filmmakers who have attended one or more Insight Festival, especially if your work won a prize, was commended or made the shortlist.

Video diaries help to give a flavour Insight to others and is a great encouragement to filmmakers everywhere.

Please contact us with links to your video journals by emailing info@insightfestival.com. We would love to hear from you.

We would be delighted to share the most instructive of these with the Insight community, via the blog and social media.

Insight’s guest video blogger policy

The Insight Film Festival publishes articles to our blog from guest bloggers on an ad hoc basis. The Festival is delighted to publish a range of views on the themes of film and faith, but the personal views expressed in such blog articles do not reflect the views and opinions of the Insight Film Festival itself, which is an organisation that comprises individuals of many different faiths and none, all of whom have their own personal views and opinions on films, faith and other subjects.
